Our Vision
GittaCity is a virtual world where players can build, own, and monetize their gaming experiences based on omnichain using GITTA, the platform’s utility token. Our vision is to offer a deeply immersive metaverse in which players will create virtual worlds and games collaboratively and without central authority.
The GittaCity DAO
The DAO structure enables our community to advance the vision of GittaCity and shape its future direction via
a decentralized governance process. Membership is granted to all GITTA tokenholders - this confers the right
to tokenholders to participate in the decision-making process of the DAO by voting on proposals put forth by
others.
Tokenholders participate in the governance of the DAO through a proposal process. The Council, with the
support of the administrators, will vet the proposals to ensure they adhere to the guidelines. But the merit
of each proposal should be evaluated by tokenholders, and they should collectively vote and decide on whether
each proposal is in the best interest of the DAO.
The Council
The Council is the interface with members of the DAO and users of the GittaCity on a day-to-day basis,
interpreting and, where appropriate, operationalizing approved Proposals. It plays an essential role in
ensuring that Proposals are handled fairly and transparently, with the collective vision and best interests of
the GittaCity ecosystem in mind.
The Council comprises 5 members who will adhere to the GITTA governance framework. The Council is responsible
for the following:
• to review and validate proposals submitted to the Council by GITTA tokenholders meet the standards as
required by the criteria under the DAO governance framework;
• to administer and oversee the implementation of proposals that are successfully approved by the GITTA
tokenholders;
• to facilitate the retention of service providers to provide bookkeeping and accounting services for the
DAO.
All new Council members must be voted in by GITTA tokenholders during the annual elections, with all future
Council members serving for a 12 months term. Council members may be removed from the office by the
tokenholders by passing a proposal as set out in the DAO’s governance framework.
